I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

~ Psalms 119:10-12

Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent, and humbly accept the Word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the Word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it – he will be blessed in what he does.

~ James 1:19-25

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

~ Proverbs 22:6

As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; He enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great.

~ Psalm 18:30-36

For the Word of the LORD is right; and all His works are done in truth.

~ Psalm 33:4

I have not departed from the commands of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily bread.

~ Job 23:12

Lay hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands and you will live. Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.

~ Proverbs 4:4-7

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

~ Matthew 24:35

“Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!”

~ Mark 16:6/Luke 24:5-6

Happy Easter, dear readers. Jesus’s death was the sacrifice for our sins. And His resurrection is salvation for those who believe.

Thank you, Lord, for loving me. With my dying breath I will strive to somehow be worthy. ♥
