Are you getting tired of hearing about and seeing my Scooby Doo collection yet?
Well, too bad, because here I am, and we’re going to talk about it again!
But if you stick around, I promise it will be worth your while to see me cosplay as Daphne. Yes, that’s right. Guess who saw a Daphne Halloween wig at the store last month and had to have it? Yep. This girl. Note to self: Never, ever, ever dye your hair red. Definitely not my colour!
It’s been more than a year since I published my “Updated Collection Tour In Celebration of Scooby-Doo’s 50th Anniversary” post, and as you can imagine, a gal can accumulate quite a bit of new Scooby memorabilia in 13 months. But that too was a whole 5 months ago, and my friend Megan recently sent me a Scoob-tastic package in the mail, filled with frightfully delightful Scooby items: A few that I purchased and had sent to her, and a couple of marvelous Scooby gifts that she picked up for me because she’s an awesome friend and I absolutely do NOT deserve her.
I also could not resist the Daphne Halloween wig I spotted at Walmart a few weeks ago, and I needed an excuse to make a fool of myself on the internet by wearing it for something… and here we are!
So welcome back to the scary, spooky, sometimes ooky (what the hell is “ooky”, I don’t know!) world of a middle-aged woman and her Scooby Doo
