~ Leonardo da Vinci

He who despises painting loves neither philosophy or nature. If you despise painting, which is the sole imitator of all the visible works of nature, you will be certainly despising a subtle invention which brings philosophy and subtle speculation to bear upon the nature of all forms – sea and land, plants and animals, grasses and flowers…

  1. I’m not sure what impresses me more, GF — the fact that you’re so talented with a brush and canvas, or the fact that you can paint anything! I’m glad you posted this collection, and I hope you continue to add to it. It’s better than touring the Met, the Guggenheim and Museum of Modern Art all at once! :)

    • Aww, thanks, Boss! You flatter me too much! (But feel free to keep doing it. I like it! ;)) It was a no-brainer to feature some of my own work here on my blog. I spend a lot of time showcasing other people’s work, so why not give my own pieces some exposure too? Glad I’ve got a die-hard fan in you, my friend! :)

  2. First off I would like to say awesome blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Thank you!

  3. I love the painting of all your favorite things. I know I cherish mine as well. Purely genius!

    Happy Victoria Day!

    • Hi, Cindy! How nice to hear from you. :)

Thank you so much for the compliment. I definitely had some good genes to work with! So glad that you found me and took the time to say hello. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! :)
